  1. I first would like to say I appreciate James D. Bailey for serving our country in the Armed Forces. My forefathers have served and I have a son that just joined the USAF my husband just retired from the Air Force. I currently live in the town of Saluda, NC and reside in the old "Princess Theater." My husband was born and raised in Saluda and left to join the USAF and since then retired. I am trying to preserve the past history of those who live in Saluda, especially those who have served. Being that James D. Bailey worked in the town of Saluda for Bank of Saluda and also served in the Armed Forces I was wondering if you can provide a picture of Mr. Bailey and if you have pictures of the Bank of Saluda location or address where he worked. I would like to preserve past history and include him as part of Saluda history. You can call me at 828 749-2600. Ely

  2. I am sorry I miss read the above. If possible would like a picture of Private Bailey and his father who worked at the Bank of Saluda. If you have the location of the bank and a picture would be nice too. I realized that Private Bailey's father worked for the Bank of Saluda. Again, would like very much to preserve the history and the people who worked in this town. Thank you. Ely
